Greetings everyone!
I sure am enjoying this beautiful day! It was in the high 30s today, which has been great after the deep freeze in the middle of the week!
Today I had a doctor appointment, and am happy to report that all is well. The baby's heartbeat sounded great, my blood pressure was great and there were no concerns about all of my prior tests! I do not have gestational diabetes, the baby is right where he should be size wise, my weight is hanging in there, and my thyroid was slightly high, but a little lower medication dosage once again should fix me up.
Brad had the pretrial for his court case yesterday. He didn't find out much other than that the trial will be sometime in April. We are just hoping that this will finally come to an end!! Other than that, he is keeping himself busy with projects around the house and work!
Sydney is still enjoying preschool! Next fall she will be going three days a week which she is pretty excited about. She now writes her first name very well, we are so proud of her! She is also quite the artist and loves to do art projects at school and draw as well. She has also become quite the helper and is willing to help with chores around the house (most of the time!) She is also looking forward to turning 5 in November and the birth of her baby brother in June!
Christopher loves the days when he gets to go to "school" too...those are on Parent/child days for Sydney's preschool. Brad drops him off in the child care center at the preschool so he can help out with Sydney's class, and Chris loves this! Lately he has begun to show an interest in dancing, and it seems like every day he learns a new word. He enjoys listening to stories, building with blocks, and chasing his sister around. He has been sleeping in a big boy bed for about a month and a half now and does a great job. He loves to crawl into bed with daddy in the mornings and get in his cuddle time. Daddy really enjoys this time with both of his kids and says it would only be better if mommy was there! :)
As I mentioned earlier, baby and I are doing great! I am still working 35 hours a week and going to school full time, so usually when the kids are napping during the week I take a little snooze as well. Not always though. My finals are this coming week, then I have two weeks off and start a new quarter on April 6. These classes will continue until the baby is born. I will be talking to my teachers when class starts to make some kind of arrangements for when I go into labor.
I return for my next doctor appointment on March 25, so we will update again by then! Take care all!
