Life in the Maller household has been busy since I last posted on this blog! :) Here's what we have been up to...
I returned to work on August 10. I continue to work the same hours (6am-1pm) and Brad continues to work nights. I am also still taking classes. I will be done with summer quarter on September 18. Then I have a little break and classes start again on October 5. Next quarter I will be upping my course load to four classes rather than 3. I am a little nervous, but am sure that things will turn out in the end.Hopefully I will be able to graduate by next summer/early fall. I am right on target for that anyway!
Sydney starts school on September 14. She will be going to preschool three days a week (M,W,F). She is very excited. She and I went to buy her new backpack, and some other essentials. Brad went to parent orientation last night. On Tuesday I am taking her to meet her teacher and see her new classroom.
We have been working really hard with Christopher on his talking skills (he doesn't have many words). His doctor told us to hold off until he was 2 1/2 to consider having him tested. That will be soon. He has some words, but most of them are not clear. I am the only one who knows what he is saying most of the time. We have also been trying to work with him on cleaning up toys and eating. He is a pretty picky eater, and I worry about him since he is so skinny!
Noah was put on medication for his reflux last month, and ever since has been a happier baby. He still has his very fussy periods, but he is easier to soothe now. He is also sleeping through the night for the most part. This week he got up at 3 am a couple of times, but he has mostly been sleeping through the night!
Brad is gearing up for hunting season. He is planning a trip to his deer shack next weekend. I guess he is thinking about taking Sydney with him so it will just be me and the boys! :)
Happy Labor Day weekend everyone.
Love,
Stacey, Brad, Sydney, Christopher, and Noah
P.S. Happy Birthday today to Aunt Kathi and tomorrow to Grandma Rogers and Uncle Dave
